Christmas Day 2007
So Christmas turned out pretty good this year! We were short on cash this month and didn’t get to get a ton of things for rhylan. But I think he made out well! We had Christmas at our house this year and it was the first Christmas here in our new apartment.
We started a tradition on Christmas Eve that rhylan will get to open one gift, and that one gift will be Christmas pajamas that he gets to wear that night. I loved how he open his present it was so cute, and it was new to us because last year he didn’t do anything but sit there this year he was all into it! He opened his pj’s and left Santa some milk and cookies (that he cried because he couldn’t eat)
Christmas morning he walked out and fell in love with his power wheel 4wheeler!
He didn’t want to open any other present, so daddy had to go hide it so that we could open everything else. He loved all of his gifts!
After that we went to my moms and we opened more gifts, and he got tons of clothes and a Diego table. He loved it; he loved going crazy opening everything.
So Christmas turned out wonderful he got spoiled!
Well I better get going he just woke up from his nap!

Christmas 2007
Christmas is just in 2 days! This year has gone by so fast!!! Its like rhylan has grown so fast and now its Christmas and now new years and then I will be 21yrs old!
We put up our tree the day after thanksgiving and it’s had presents under it for a while. We are excited this year because rhylan is a little older and understands how to tear them open! Last year he was just 2 months old and didn’t have a clue!
The only sad part is it’s going to be a little Christmas. Bills have taken over and we are short on money. But Christmas isn’t about gifts it’s about family time and has fun!
So I will post pictures of Christmas morning and stuff in a couple of days!

Singing Bears & Snow!
So we took rhylan to see the singing bears and the fake snow they had a birkdale. He really enjoyed it. Although he is at the stage where he doesn’t want to be held or in his stroller, he wants to walk everywhere. That includes trying to run into the road and I always have the fear he is going to fall on the pavement and scuff his face up or something.
Anyways they have these really cute bears there that sing all kinds of Christmas songs and he just danced and danced. :] Then they have the fake foam snow, which is pretty cool! I wish it would just snow here!! Here are a few cute pictures I took!

I seen scrooge today!!
Well my bright sister decided that we go christmas shopping today before she had to go to work at 3:30pm Well i think everything in this world was on the road or shopping today!! So i drop her off at work and i am sitting in front of micheals in mooresville waiting to turn left. I have to sit in the aisle cause there is no where to go, too much traffic! So i am sitting there and this guy behind me in a white lexis decides that he doesnt want to wait for me that he is going to pull up next to me roll down his window and tell me to "F**k off and flip me off" while blowing on his horn!!! So i said back "where the heck you want me to go?" Ohh did i mention he passed me on the left hand side while i was trying to turn left? I swear people are soo darn impatient! Its christmas time, its time to be nice! Just hold your horses and wait!!

Bills WTF?
Bills, why does their have to be such thing?
I honestly hate them worth a passion, I mean who loves them? Hopefully no one in this world!! One bill that I am going to go crazy over is this damn phone bill. Windstream sucks so badly!! We have basic service with them that includes just calling around town and that’s it no long distance nothing! And they want me to pay $50+ a month? Are you out of your mind? I just got my bill and it’s like $150 because the first and last month combined. That is plus $50 just to come over here and turn on the freaking switch!
I’m just so mad I don’t want to pay it at all, but its like we need a phone. Ughh I just hate bills. I wish I was rich like those women that live over their in the point and drive Mercedes and probably don’t worry about a thing. But I guess I will never be rich! It just sucks!!

Doctors Today
So today I took rhylan to the doctors because he has had this spot on the back of his leg for a while and I thought it was eczema. So I was putting cortisone cream on it and it just never went away. So she gave him some heavy duty cream for 7 days and said it should clear up by then!
But other then that he weighed in at 29lbs and 36in tall. He’s a big boy and will be tall like his dad which is 6’3.
Anyways while we were there I had her check his ears, because at his one year appt she said they look inflamed. She took a look and said they are still inflamed and he looked kind of congested but there was no fever or nothing? She said just to keep an eye on him and if he gets a high fever to bring him in. I also had her check this little spot on his head that is like a bump and its right in the middle of his hair line on his forehead. She said that his soft spot is still open a tiny bit and his skull I guess was kind of over lapping? I was like ok? She said to give it a while to heal and that if it gets worse come back ASAP! It has me worried a bit. But hopefully everything will be fine!
So ya that was like my day today nothing exciting, hopefully Rhys rash goes away soon :]

Our adventure to see Santa!!!
Let me just start by saying rhylan hates Santa! He must think he is some sort of alien that is taking him away for ever or something!
So last year when we got pictures taken with Santa rhylan was only 2months old so he had no clue what was going on! This year? Wow what a big change! He is almost 14 months and can’t get over how scary Santa looks. So I decided to take him to the mall one day and we seen Santa. No big deal just looking at him, but the minute I sat him on his lap he flipped out and gave that Santa the meanest look ever, and reached up to me and scream. I felt so bad there was no way I was going to pay $20 for pics of my son screaming like he was dying!
So I decided to take him to this local portrait studio that is having Santa pictures. So i'm thinking alright maybe it’s cheaper there and I can get more pics for $20! So we get there and I proceed to take him to the back where Santa is and he immediately starts freaking out. So I was like ohh no! So I decided that I would just sit with him and get pics but no that wasn’t happening. Nothing was working he cried the whole time! After about 30 pictures I finally decided to quit and look at the pics. They were horrible, he was crying in all of them. I felt bad just walk out on the place and say no, so I ended up picking a picture of him sitting in Santa’s chair while Santa is on the floor(I know poor Santa) reading a book to him. It turned out alright, but I will have this later to show him when he understands, and say look how scared you were!
So after everything we never really got a good picture with Santa :]

Well Hello People!
I'm new to this blogg idea, but after seeing a couple of the moms have them I decided what the heck and try it out.
I’m Desirae, a stay at home mom to rhylan. Who is turning 14 months on the 20th of December. Boy I tell you, time sure does fly by fast!
It just seems like yesterday I was getting married and about to have him and now he has turned into this little boy.
Anyways a little about me :] I am 20yrs old; I turn 21 on Jan 29th!! I am so excited about that! I was born in Walnut Creek, Cali and from there I have lived in Oregon, Texas, and here in North Carolina. What can I say my parents love to move! I think my mom counted 26 different houses that we have lived in. WOW! That’s allot! But I think we are finally settled here in North Carolina.
I am married to Jacob, who moved down here to go to that student Nascar College! Now that is just a waste of money right there! $30,000 down the drain! No teams here want to hire Nascar college kids cause the first people put a bad name on the school, so now all the teams think they are shitty people! So ya he is just working at a mechanic shop for now :[
We met through a friend that had been dating him, and one night we went to his house so they could umm screw! And that night he ended up calling me. From that night we went from talking, dating, sexing, getting married, and having a baby in all 2 years together! It was a quick 2 years I will tell you that! We got married Sept 17th 2006.
October 20th is when little Rhylan came into this world! I will tell you that was the best day of my life. I never knew you could love someone so fast! He was truly a blessing! After 21 hours of hard labor and THEN a c-section he arrived. Weighing 8lbs 6oz 22in long and had a huge cone head. For 21hrs he had been sitting in my pelvic bones molding his little head. Poor thing almost look like an alien but was the cutest thing ever!!!
Now he is almost 14months and is becoming a little boy, He just started walking at 13months old and has a huge vocab! He says about anything and will repeat everything!! But boy its wonderful being a mom, it’s something that I will cherish for a lifetime and never regret!!
Alright so now that I have almost put you to sleep, I will end this little story and start some more, edit my profile a little bit and make it look pretty ;]
